This is an interview with Tim Moxey founder of Nuun by Andrew Warner of Mixergy.
Tim Moxey couldn’t find a sports drink that he could take throughout endurance events. Tim didn’t like the consistency or the sugary taste of the drinks that were on the market. So he launched Nuun, which allows sports people to drop a simple tablet into plain water and gives them the electrolytes that they need.
For endurance athletes, this is a far easier way to keep their energy levels high – all they need to is drop the tablet in a water bottle they are carrying or that would be available around the course on race day.
Tim tells the story of how he started the company and grew it into a $10 million dollar business.
